Private Addiction Recovery and Psychedelic Therapy
A more personal approach to integrative medicine
Individual programmes
For those whose lives carry a high degree of visibility and responsibility, conventional treatment settings do not always offer the flexibility, privacy or discretion required. The demands of family, business and public life do not always sit easily within conventional arrangements.
We provide discreet guidance, shaping a private programme around your needs, with the approach, modalities and people selected to reflect them.
Engagements may be entirely private or residential in nature, encompassing preparation, treatment, integration and continuity of care.
Each arrangement is undertaken individually, with our attention directed exclusively to the client concerned.
A private residence may be arranged, or an established centre secured for exclusive use for the duration of the programme. Location, duration and structure are determined according to the individual needs, preferences and priorities of the client.
Khanea draws on an established network of practitioners. Each retains professional responsibility for their own practice, while Khanea oversees the wider architecture.
Engagements are undertaken internationally, within jurisdictions where programmes can be delivered in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
The Work
We primarily work with clients seeking support with addiction or Parkinson’s. Preparation and integration form an integral part of each engagement.
The Engagement
Each engagement is structured around the individual, with setting, duration and programme structure considered in light of the circumstances.
The Practitioners
Each practitioner is selected with regard to their profile, expertise and experience, while retaining responsibility for their own professional practice.
Psychedelic Therapy
Psychedelic-assisted therapy is emerging as a meaningful therapeutic modality for addiction recovery and a range of complex mental health and neurological conditions. For some individuals, it offers a different avenue when conventional approaches have not delivered the progress or perspective sought.
The potential of this work extends beyond the substance itself. The therapeutic setting, the quality of the practitioners, the preparation and the integration are integral to the work and to its potential value.
Iboga and ibogaine have particular relevance in addiction recovery, while ibogaine is also being investigated in Parkinson’s disease. Ketamine, psilocybin and 5-MeO-DMT each have distinct applications and are being explored across different therapeutic contexts, according to the individual and the nature of the work.
The Challenge
Navigating psychedelic therapy for addiction recovery requires discernment. Finding the right approach, practitioner and setting — with the necessary standards of safety, ethics, professionalism and discretion — can be complex, time-consuming and demanding.
The Solution
Khanea provides an independent layer between the client and the treatment arrangement — assessing practitioners and modalities against defined criteria, and shaping the structure of each engagement with precision, discretion and care.
Arrangements
Engagements are designed around a client’s existing environment, schedule and preferences rather than a standard setting and may include longer-term pathways or residential settings.
Settings
Where appropriate, a programme may involve a residential setting, allowing treatment, preparation, integration and continuity of care to be considered as one connected experience.
Pathways
Not every engagement is defined by a single treatment or short intervention. For some clients, we may help structure a longer-term pathway incorporating different modalities over time.
Accompaniment
A variety of integration focused arrangements are available, including more immersive engagements with ongoing personal support and presence through the integration period.
Principles
A defined framework of professional, ethical and clinical considerations informs every engagement we assess, including safety, appropriate oversight, continuity of care, privacy and discretion.
We consider the wider context in which care is provided — including the practitioner, setting and individual circumstances — to ensure each engagement meets the standards we expect of those we work with.
Enquire
Every engagement begins with a private conversation. Whether you are exploring treatment for yourself or enquiring on behalf of someone else, we invite you to speak with us confidentially about what you are seeking.
We’ll consider your circumstances, the nature of your enquiry and whether we are well placed to assist. Where there is a fit, we can then explore how we might work together.
